Who provides the game

Hoop Fever is provided by Pepe Corredoira (GitHub: josemcc). This policy covers the iPhone app and this support website.

Data on your device

The app stores sound preferences, personal high scores, level progress, stars and best streaks locally. For a signed-in Game Center player it also stores the game's scoped player identifier, cached rank, and the highest score waiting to be submitted. These records allow the app to associate scores with the correct player and retry after a connection failure. The app does not read your contacts, photos, location, microphone or advertising identifier.

Optional Game Center

You can play without signing in to Game Center. If you sign in, the app uses Apple's GameKit service to authenticate your player, send Play scores and retrieve your rank. Only Play rounds begun with an authenticated player can contribute to this leaderboard; Levels and Practice do not submit scores.

For this feature, your game-scoped player identifier and gameplay scores are used for app functionality and linked to your Game Center account. Your best score and player profile may be visible to other players through Apple's leaderboard interface and privacy settings. We do not operate our own account or leaderboard server, sell this information, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps and websites. Apple's service is governed by Apple's privacy policy and your Game Center settings.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain until removed with the app or device data. Device backups may contain local records. Removing Hoop Fever does not delete scores held in Game Center. Manage your Game Center profile through iPhone Settings and Apple's privacy controls. For questions about a leaderboard entry or a privacy request, use the contact method below. Do not send your Apple Account password.

Support requests

When you choose to contact us, the information you provide is used to answer your request and investigate the issue. Include only information necessary for support. Public GitHub issues and their attachments are visible to others. We do not request sensitive personal information for ordinary support.

This website

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. It uses no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, third-party fonts or site cookies. GitHub may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to provide and secure hosting, as described in the GitHub privacy statement. Pages and videos can be viewed without creating an account; opening a GitHub support issue requires a GitHub account.

Children

The app does not ask for a name, email address, date of birth or other personal information. Game Center access for younger players is managed by Apple and family or parental settings. Do not include a child's identifying information in a public support request.

Your choices and requests

You may play without Game Center, change sound settings, and remove locally stored game data by deleting the app. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information associated with a support request or leaderboard entry. Contact us to explain your request. Apple manages requests concerning your Apple Account and its services. We do not use data for cross-app tracking.

Updates to this policy will be published here with a revised effective date. For app support or privacy questions, contact the developer. Use no private identifiers or sensitive information in a public issue.
